WELCOME TO THE DEN The popular Lone Wolf Backyard Ultra returns for 2024. With a few changes. Situated at the beautiful Elk Valley Nordic Centre, offering a great place to start, finish and (for all but one), DNF. A simple aid station, plus washrooms are available. With plenty of space to set up a tent and hunker down for a great day(s) in the Den.
WHAT IS A BACKYARD ULTRA? A simple, fun, looped race. But with a catch. Racers start together on the hour as a pack, needing to finish the loop within the hour. As when the next hour strikes, the race starts again, in the opposite direction. The goal? To complete as many loops as you can.
