Dead After Dark
Dead After Dark is a female-fronted, progressive metalcore band from the Okanagan area.
Lance and Lisa (founding members) bring you their own take on metalcore, sure to have you bouncing in the mosh pit. The two have a history of working together, but this new project has been long awaited and they are both extremely passionate about it.
Lisa has been singing since she was very little and is very passionate about all things music. She also plays guitar and piano and has recently learned vocal distortion techniques. Lisa has also been apart of a duo acoustic group in the past, performing around the Okanagan.
Lance's primary instrument is bass and enjoys playing in styles that range from heavy metal to contemporary pop. Lance has already graduated from the Selkirk College Music Program, having majored in Music Production and will also be completing his Advanced Diploma this year.
Also joining them on stage will be Jay Porteous on guitar, Cody Elliott on guitar and Josh Tapp on drums.
Dead After Dark blends styles from bands like Spiritbox, In This Moment, Fit For a King, Erra and More! We look forward to rocking with you, Saturday April 6th at The Royal at 8pm!

Bucket
Hailing from the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. Inspired by the sounds of Eastern Canada’s punk scene and early 2000s pop punk. Chasing the thrills of teenage angst, heartbreak and high voltage... Bucket is here and we’re not leaving ‘till we get kicked out!

Jay Porteous
From Kelowna BC, Jay Porteous has never been afraid to take the stage by storm. After 3 years at Selkirk college majoring in Production and Composition, she is ready to show Nelson what she’s got. Arming herself with fellow musicians and friends Lance MacBain (bass) and Kadin Bergen (drums), she aims to bring down the house with punk rock originals that will make you stomp those leather-studded boots and shout!
