May 6-12, 2024 marks the return of the annual Wings over the Rockies Nature Festival in the Upper Columbia Valley/Invermere area, one of the premier nature festivals in western Canada!

The theme this year is Wings 'Way Over' the Rockies - the Big Picture. which will focus on the "big picture" interconnections of wildlife, landscapes, people and beyond into the starry skies. Their presenters and field leaders aim to improve our understanding, appreciation and stewardship of the natural world through diverse and engaging events.

There will be a special film screening of the award-winning documentary 500 Days in the Wild on Thursday, May 9, and live music will be featured on Friday, May 10 with the award-winning duo Over the Moon. A Gala dinner & keynote speaker Bob McDonald from CBC Radio will then happen on Saturday, May 11
