  • Torchlight Brewing

125 HALL STREET, NELSON, BC https://www.torchlightbrewing.com/homepage < Back Torchlight Brewing 125 HALL STREET, NELSON, BC https://www.torchlightbrewing.com/homepage Torchlight Brewing Co. started as an idea that two friends, Josh and Craig, had while enjoying some craft beer on a patio in Halifax. Inspired to open their own brewery back in their home town of Nelson, the friends set out on a path that changed their lives. First, they opened a nano-brewery in June of 2014, but found demand for their beer was outpacing their ability to make it. They then set about expanding into a proper micro-brewery, complete with a full lounge. This dream became realized in May 2017 as the new brewery rapidly filled with thirsty patrons. Torchlight continues striving to make the most delicious and innovative craft beers around. Served in beautiful Nelson BC! Come join us for a pint or a bite and see for yourself… Previous Next

  • Rafters

4300 Red Mountain Road, Rossland BC. https://www.redresort.com/rafters/ < Back Rafters 4300 Red Mountain Road, Rossland BC. https://www.redresort.com/rafters/ Even before it was voted the #1 après-ski spot in the world by no less of an authority than Powder Bleeping Magazine (R.I.P), we all knew that a trip to Rafters was worth the trip in itself. Some of the best BC craft beers on tap, world-class Caesars, famous nachos and other après-ski comfort food will have you feeling warm and relaxed in no time flat. (And, yeah, that guy that somehow started snoring in the corner during the live music is a bit too relaxed, we agree.) Design nerds love the 19th century mine timbers that frame the Rafters experience along with the walls chock full of ski lore of years gone by, including a shrine to the local Old Bastards Ski Club. Everyone loves the vintage neighbourhood pub aesthetic and low-key clubhouse feel. It’s like you’re amongst friends the second you walk in the door. Stake your claim at a picnic table and let the golden good times flow. Rafters is kid-friendly and a great place to fuel up the family after a big day on our big mountain. You can dance the day away to live bands and guest DJs or sit and sip a pint at the bar. And, if you’re staying on-hill, it’s an easy walk to your condo at Last Call, no designated driver required. Location? First, undo your ski boots. Now, head all the way upstairs in the Day Lodge to the 3rd floor to find out what fun really looks like. Welcome to Canada. Previous Next
